Hunting idle

Hi folks need a bit of help on tick over when car is warm it seems to be hunting idle from about 600rpm to 900 rpm any ideas thanks.

Hi folks need a bit of help on tick over when car is warm it seems to be hunting idle from about 600rpm to 900 rpm any ideas thanks.

Check all intake hoses for air leaks, there are a number of hoses including one or two under the air box which are difficult to see and to access but often split.

I had a sticking purge valve that caused this, it also flagged a lambda fault. Any codes?

Agreed it sounds like a vac leak on the intake.

Check to see if the oil filler cap is on secure . And that your fuel filler cap is secure .
