I had lost the will to live by this point but I did wax the exhausts so they should be easier to clean

And I did the same to the wheels

Should keep her safe from the salt and more corrosion. As there is pretty much all new paint on her a clay bar session wasn't needed but now with such new paint, its a good idea in my view to keep her cleaner than I used to to keep her tip top.

Looking good Steve !

Wanna perform a miracle on mine ? :)

2 hrs is my max too. It's enough time to cover 80% of what needs to be done.

It works on the 80/20 rule. You've covered 80% of the job in 20% of the time. I'm simply not prepared to spend the extra 8hrs for the final 20%.

2 hours?? No wonder it looks a mess :D

I can spend 2 DAYS on a car (much to my there half's dismay)

Only joking Steve - it looks fantastic....but you do need to sweep up those leaves ;)

For curry, yes:D:D

Welcome for curry any time matey - you know that !

Apart from a right good clean, mine needs the alloys refurbed. They are starting to get rather horrid.

Couldn't bear to have my car smashed up to get new paint though ...

They've issued them with the 14 day letter otherwise judgement in default is found against the third party by the courts.

I should get my £600 back and my rewewal change from £1300 to something under £800....

I say the word should, because it hasn't happened yet.

If I weren't working 6 days and 11hr shifts (its a bit mad at work), I'd actually have the time for a curry...:(

And now for the inside. Clear up those sweet wrappers, curry stains etc. :D

Nice photos. :thumb:

For someone who can't do detailing, you've done a good job! If only I had the patience...

Nice car and decent job.......with a little helper and plenty of cloths 2 hours more than enough for DIY

An hour is my limit, that includes unpacking and repacking the pressure washer and a leather off.

Two hours I just lose interest.

Likewise. I'd rather be driving it than cleaning it.

:bannana:

Just wait until the better weather then we will be back to proper driving threads and pictures of Scotland

Better weather - it was like late summer today! Washed three cars (two W124s and a BMW 325i - it is fair to say that my white one got a lot more effort) in an hour, and cut the lawn for the first time - glad I did, it was getting to a difficult height.

After the fun of yesterday, a nice day of domestic chores was much appreciated.

It was.
I was outside when not in here and it was lovely. I went out last night in a lightweight jumper and even after midnight some people were in short sleeves and short skirts.

And as for the Girls..

Here's my attempt at a decent reflection after cleaning my 211 today! :)
