Ian Walker has just phoned me to say our car is ready.It needed a jolly good service ready for it's new life in Greece.I don't look after my cars that well.
It had new ball joints and new back springs,it's also got a fresh MOT.Ian is also going to re-gas the air-con.
TBH we were expecting the worse but Ian came up with a top notch price and said I can e-mail him with any problems (if any) after we move.
I went to MB Milton Keynes the other day and a new key is waiting for me.MBMK was my first visit to a dealer and the young guy in the parts dept was very helpfull.
I now can't wait to pick up the car and do my long drive.

Thanks very much to all the advice-givers on this forum and also to Ian who has saved me from selling the car for tuppence and buying an old Audi.
I will take some pics en-route through Europe and try to put them up on the board.

Thanks Darrell. The pleasure is all mine. Nice car apart from being sil....silv.... dull chrome and a manual (found that out while going down the yard and waiting for it to change gear. Come on, we have all done that ) Your trip to Greece should be trouble free, but if not you have my number :bannana:

Would like to add my thanks to Ian for replacing rear springs and engine mounts over Christmas.
