Hi All
Having scanned (no pun intended) this site for guidance and read many threads on the iCarsoft MB11, not sure of everything it can do so...
I decided I should have one to scan/reset faults on my SL55AMG (2003).
Mine iCarsoft is the V2 version (pictured) and cost me £129 from iCarsoft MB II For SMART MERCEDES BENZ SPRINTER Diagnostic Tool SRS ABS ENGINE 737278989514 | eBay

When connected to a car or the USB power/Data lead you will get this screen below.

testing this system brought up the dash warning below which was a little worrying.. !

the warning went off after the diagnostic check, no faults recorded.. phew! couldn't see a service position menu, only

I didn't delve too deeply into every scan function... overall no faults found...

Battery voltage live tested.. all good..

Able to view the ABC suspension settings , levels, etc.. I wasn't brave enough to fiddle with anything just yet.... if it isn't broke... here are a few more screen shots of the device in action on my SL55 in next post

Great intro, surprised it appears to do so much. My local indie couldn't reset the ride height on my ABC with their diagnostic (which they said was STAR), I wonder whether this would. 🤔

I have the crv2, covers a few more makes and models. Brought it as it allowed me to reset the air conditioning so I could fix a leak and recharge the system with refrigerant. Definitely a thumbs-up 20210812_141418.jpg20210812_141410.jpg

Great write up John.

Thanks Matt and Hedgehogsdad
Most of the scan main titles have multiple sub menus which I didn't go into... not sure the ride height level can be altered..* but as I said I was worried I might upset a working car, and break something.. was able to clear a few historic faults, I also wanted to see if the new PSE I fitted could be coded to make the seats work, but I think that might be STAR only.*
No faults on it showing though.
Pretty decent tool.. updated easily online, some functions had a record mode so you could drive the car and record things like suspension reactions etc.
Its early days... nice to be able to scan for faults.
had to google this one;
BNS bordnetzsteuergerät = electrical system control unit (in the scan menu)
