icarsoft V2 error when connecting as an OBDii

Hi all. I'm connecting my iCarsoft to the W213, it goes into the service menu fine and into the individual menu fine, but when I try and connect via the OBD menu, it runs the first part then fails saying there's a connection issue? I have used it on my W204 less than a year ago and updated it then.

Anything obvious? I did read that you can't update via a Mac, is this still the case?

It was on 11.6ish, it's now on 12.6, the update works on mac now by the look. The car is at the garage at the moment, so I'll check it once I pick up.

Try updating it again, I connected mine to my computer this morning and an application update was available.

I will when I get the car back later (having a bit of oil removed as it was over-filled on service).

I've only just updated from 11 to 12 today, so I haven't tried the new update yet to see if it works, but fingers crossed! thanks for the tip. It's more to see if I'm getting any adblue error codes as my top-up still isn't registering yet.

Car back, I've plugged in now getting the "vehicle database doesn't have a licence" error when I go to diagnostic menu

But the OBDii worked and shows no fault codes, so I guess I'll have to wipe the sd card and try again later or tomorrow

Check the application update, mine went from V3.4 to V3.48 this morning.

I'm doing it again through the PC as I think the Mac one didn't do it properly
V23.02 is latest system
Benz is showing at 12.60

The old version was still on the card, so I think that may have been a problem, so I've deleted it.

Ok, finally sorted, had to format the card and redo the update onto the card fresh.seems to be all good now, taking the car back up to get some oil drained, they play on the weekend.
