I'd like to buy one for myself, used if possible.
But I've got ABS ESD lights up, no auto handbrake etc.
I'm certain it's a abs sensor but which one.
Wouldn't mind a plug in from a local member?
Until I find my own!

I decided to buy an icarsoft V2 new, from UKpartsdirect.
Came with a bit of discount.
It'll pay for itself the 1st time I use anyway.

Could of had my cr pro for all cars for £150 . Covers everything made upto 2017 . Can't believe the mb2 is still selling now that version 3 is out , lifetime updates is a load of shyte from icarsoft . Lifetime of the unit only .. beware people...

You can still get them brand new.....updates still coming out. Updated my v2.0 mine the other week.

Only update to a certain version. 12.6 possibly. Then it's game over .

It won't effect owners of 10 year old cars. Just newish models.

Both on a mb2 . The mb3 will obviously be more upto date and will be for a few years to come .

Icarsoft told me serial numbers beginning iV are at the end of life .

It always will , what's going to change . ?? The only updates you get are for newer models anyways not for post 2016 . My cr pro don't recognise my 18/19 reg glc because it's not included , as is the wife's 21 reg Corsa . Yet it read everything on my 16 reg e350. When I contacted icarsoft as to why ,they told me it's obsolete now. If you were to buy a 2020 Merc your mb2 would be junk. But worth keeping for a 2012 model.

I used my new icarsoft v2 on Wednesday, brought up a load of front left faults.
My new ABS sensor arrived yesterday, fitted today (really simple job).
Erased codes, 10 miles so far, no faults showing, auto brake working again.
So at £148, including the sensor, it's cost less than a trip to the local garage, and I have (in my head), a free icarsoft in my toolbox.
This car is just my weekend toy, so I'm really happy with this outcome.
It'll get used a lot more as the car gets older.
