Icy weather and parking sensors

Hi folks
I’m in the process of getting used to my 2018 E Class Cabrio after a few days of ownership.
We’ve had some very cold and icy weather here, and the parking sensors were going off at random. Today it’s not so cold or wet and they haven’t so much as squeaked. Is this a known issue (which I can live with) or should I get it looked at under warranty?
Cheers

Frost and / or ice buildup on the parking sensors will cause them to behave as you describe. Irritating, but quite normal.

Same weather ive just had and mine have worked as they should. Chances are the seals are breaking down letting moisture in.

Interesting. Perhaps I ought to have it checked out
