Which c63

Just looking back at the edition 1, the bumper line isn't quite right near the bonnet, could have been removed to pain in the past I guess.

The front panel gaps are all over the place with the 204s and 205s and especially on the saloon check that both headlights are lined up the same I can guarantee that they don't ie rub your finger on the wing side of the light on both side's 😀 for me it would have to be an S as the non s prices have dropped of a cliff as said above 50k miles wouldn't bother me at all as long as the history is correct, my choice is the brilliant blue 1 the black looks boring and not a fan of silver either

Here's the blue one:

3 month warranty is a bit shocking though.

Legally you have six months anyway... so their three months counts for nothing as far as you are concerned....it just protects them from paying the bills for the first three months... which is odd as you would think buying you a six month warranty would be to their advantage and minimise their financial risk should anything break.

Thanks for that, sounds like I need to do some reading up.

I called MB, lady on the phone went through the service history on the blue one with me, said its got very good SH.

Next year its due a major, which is plugs, brake fluid etc, Sytner said £1090, but its not due until Dec next year. Then 2026 its a minor but plus gearbox / DCT service which comes to about £608 - so all in pretty decent.

She recommended if I buy one at a non MB dealer, to book in for a health check, as I should get 30 days to return to a VAT registered garage and have a right to refuse the car? Will have to read up on that, sounds like a plan.

Right, I decided I am looking at the black one now lol.

Closest, dealer has been good thus far (well they are trying to sell a car ha!), 2 month AMG warranty, good spec, low mileage, good history. I would black out all the chrome and get the eibach pro suspension kit fitted though - need to check how that would affect warranty.

I have the EIBACH pro lowering kit fitted to my coupe just be aware you will chew front tyre's even quicker than they do normally
As a guide the black surrounds cost over £1200 from MB but you can't buy the boot strip that would have to be wrapped or non mb 🙂

That looks great, are you running spacers? *edit just realised you said you have a coupe.

Weird thing on coupes is I noticed they eat tyres? Every single MOT history on one’s I check always had advisories or fails on tyres? Someone told me from factory the wear on the inside?

Both C and E 63’s wear the inside shoulders much more quickly than normal models. It’s the price we pay for great turn in …. It’s not really a problem but you do have to have your wits about you and check tyres often.

I got caught out on a service a couple of years ago when I got a call saying all 4 needed replacing in my C63 due to excessive inside wear. Wasn’t a cheap day that one, but the tyres owed me nothing, they’d all done > 20k (Michelin PS4S) which included shenanigans at Milbrook on a driving course.

As said above all AMGs eat the inside edge not just the coupe as for my blue saloon this was standard not lowerd or spaces the rears were 275, 35,19 and fronts were 245,35 ,19 the wheel's were custom order
As for wheel's this set we're chrome like yours but in a right mess so he decided to do them black which looked so much better with the black pack (night edition)

Just an observation why has it got a FL interior?
Maybe air vents and some ambient lighting have been retrofitted 🤷‍♂️
Correct, it was a retrofit I was going to do regardless on whatever one I bought, as I originally loved the e class vents and lighting system but wanted a C. A guy in Bristol (Afterone) and near Bradford (forget that places name) that does it, £699 all in. These guys confirmed they had it done and got the guy in the phone who fitted it to go through adjustments of colour which uses the standard wheel / ambient 3 colour menu, but you continue to rotate to cycle through 64 colours.

I will be retrofitting a Linux CarPlay screen too, as I cannot live without CarPlay. But need to locate the best / most compatible one.

Also thinking of having the wheels redone in a darker colour, the black with polished lip looks superb, but not sure who does that yet.

They look fantastic, I must admit I prefer the black with polished lip on cars I have seen, so was thinking of getting them redone.

The picture of that saloon looks like the arch gap is full!

Personal choice but I love the blue. I’m biased though as same spec as mine 😁 but looks class. Also I personally prefer the saloon over the coupe, but we all like different things 🤷‍♂️
It’s odd, as I was set on a coupe at first, but then, started to look at saloons and ultimately decided on one. Back doors and room to actually sit in the back is a novelty! All our cars for many years have been small 2+2 with barely any rear space or headroom, or two seaters. I’m actually quite looking forward to being able to get people in the back, and not having to get out all the time as well! As well as actually being able to open doors in tight car parking spaces lol.

You could tell the difference between the sets of wheel's on my saloon
1 standard wheel's
2 custom wheel's ( wheel mania Birmingham)
Also the black wheel's above we're done by the wheel specialist in Nottingham
