12 grand was a lot of money. To me the appeal of the W124 is that they're cheap, well made cars. At that price an R129 makes more sense unless you need four full size seats.
Bright red is fine on a poseur's car.

If he really is a member of the MBOC then he should know that those aren't sportline seats.
