Illuminated Sills

After some for my C-coupe, but not too keen on MB prices...

Can anyone with oem ones comment on how oem the above appear, please. I am happy with the look of the logo, but wondering about the sill itself & how well they will fit?

My concern is that they look more like older style W202 sills, whick may be similar to clk ones like yours. Not sure whether the C-coupe ones look different, as these in the above link look nothing like my current non illuminated sills.
Can any illuminated c-coupe owners help, please?

Not a coupe owner but I bought 203 illuminated sills from that site and they are nothing like the OEM sills fitted.
The supplied sills are nice quality but they just stick over the originals, not very sightly IMHO.

I haven't fitted them.....

The OEM ones , at least for the CLK and w124 stick on top of the existing sills ...

They have 3M adhesive foam tape on the back ... you don't think you get brand new sill units do you ?

This is what I suspected. My B-class oem ones were complete replacements for the black plastic parts, ie not stick on.

The w202 OEM sills were complete (inc. plastic etc.) originally, but are now not available, and the stick on sill covers are the only ones available now, MB call them "ornamental covers".

Would any one be able to email me the WIS fitting instructions for them on a CL203, Please?

Hi Smatt. Do you have any photos of these installed in your coupe? Was it a difficult job to fit them? I'm quite fancying putting them in mine if I can get some for a decent price.
