Evening all, I've been away for a couple of years of owning a Porsche Panamera and decided it was time to go back to what I know and love. I've now got an E400 convertible (2014 3.0 twin turbo) and I absolutely love it - I was going to get the E350 CDi but couldn't resist this beast!
I've got a few issues that need sorting but I'll post about those in the relevant areas. But for now hi everyone, it's good to be back!

What changed your mind from the 350 Cdi to 3.0 twin turbo (I have the same model/engine but never tried the diesel except in a GLC)

Def the right choice in this tree hugging, car hating world that we live in......and no AdBlue crap to go wrong and cost the OP a fortune.....so overall the running costs will not be too far apart if he does sensible miles.

Hi Neil,

I just thought 2 turbos and over 300bhp would be a change from diesel - my last petrol car was a SL500, i like v engines.

Also most of the diesels I saw with the red roof had red seats - I'm not a red seat person!!!

It won't get used a great deal so running costs aren't an issue.

I had a 2015 C250 estate that was adblue that had no problems whatsoever in 2 years - was I lucky or do they have a lot of issues?

Im sure "most" are OK.....but a quick search on this here forum will bring up dozens of cases of adblue failure....some stopping the car being driven or even just started.
