I'm narrowing it down, which W216 CL then?

Both the same ticket price £22k, both full MB history, both 20" AMG alloys and bodykit.

2007 CL500 black with beige, 48k miles 6 upgrades from standard, £20500 cash price

2009 CL500 silver with black, 87 k miles 7 upgrades from standard, £21500 cash price


Which one would you go for and why?

I would also go for lower mileage one... The 09 at almost 90K will drop like a brick when it reaches 100K

I think the W216 looks much nicer in black, so taking into account Jay's comments I'd suggest you carry on looking. It won't be long before another crops up in the price range you're looking for.

That's kind of what I was thinking.
I only do 6k miles a year but it's just too close to the "magic" 100k mile figure for me.
