Hi, I have a 1996/7 c200 w202 with an immobiliser problem,
doors open and close on fob (single button type) but no green light on mirror and wont crank can hear fuel pump, any clues or can I bypass immobiliser. thanks in advance

Disconcert vacuum pump electrical connections for 10 minutes then reconnect them. Check that the vacuum pumps connection plugs/sockets are clean and without corrosion.

DO NOT SLAM THE BOOT SHUT WHILE THE VACUUM PUMP IS DISCONECTED as your boot lock may not open if it is seized.

Vacuum pump is located behind boot trim driver side.

Many thanks for your help problem solved. disconnected for 15 mins did not start, left disconnected overnight, reconnected this morning and bang first flick of the key away she went. Thanks again you are a " Legend "
