Does anyone have an MB in this colour? Not seen it in the flesh yet and am undecided as to whether I like it and what the resale will be like in a years time?

I've got it on my CLS- I was originally looking at black ones, but then decided I wanted a beige interior, and Indium seemed a good complement to the beige and the standard (brown) wood trim.

The bronze element in the paint is emphasised in sunshine, so looks more browny. On overcast days and in artificial light it looks more grey.

Hides dirt and scratches quite well.

Same as mine, Indium with Cashmere leather......so much better than the oh so usual Black/Silver/Black factory default!

And it can look different very much depending upon the light.....I like it too

dodgy plate :)

Indium + beige does seem to work...

It responds so some good polishing - and is excellent at hiding the grime.

Think warm grey rather than the more usual cool greys.

I've currently got an E250CDI Estate as a courtesy car whilst mine is having some warranty work done on it.

I must say, although it suits the car but i am not convinced....

Colour is OK but can often be coupled to some rather anaemic light interior trim colours that are not to everyone's taste?

Love mine in that colour. Alpaca (grey) interior works well too.

As one or two have said, the light conditions alter the colour meaning that today it looks quite grey whilst in bright sun it looks more bronze.

Had my W212 in Indium Grey for two years and am pleased I made that choice. As Mr E and others have said, it changes colour according to the light conditions which means the car always looks different.

As for resale I don't know, but there are a large number of people who are bored to death with the standard issue silver or black on MB's, so I suspect it won't make a jot of difference.

Tenorite grey is nicer imho & will be more popular at re-sale time i would imagine.......

My W204 was Tenorite / Alpaca and part of me said to go for that again with the W212, but in the end I decided it would have looked like a pumped up version of the car I traded in :)

I also wanted a light interior and settled on Almond Beige which just won't work with Tenorite.

Tenorite was my first choice of colour when looking for a 212 but the only delivery mileage sport with the spec i wanted(pano roof/amg body kit/wheels/harman kardon/black leather etc)was iridium silver(my 3rd on the trot!).

That's a nice colour , is it metallic or flat ?

Having seen it in the flesh I've decided against it.

If it changes colour it'll be pearlescent.

If it changes colour it'll be pearlescent.

It's defo metallic, no pearlescence. Perhaps "changing colour" is overstating the effect- it's more like the difference between something seen under a "cold" electric light bulb and then seen under a "warm" one.
