I have a broken instrument cluster - speed needle sits between 20-25mph. I understand the majority of cases have seen this issue fixed by either gluing the big gear (the 8cm gear on the back of the cluster itself) back together or by acquiring a working cluster and swapping either the gear over or replacing the circuit board off the back with the other to avoid any complex remove/repair/recoding process.
Has anyone been able to get hold of aftermarket gears before? I hear you cannot get them from a dealer - its a new cluster that is required (found some on eBay).
Anyone with some cheap fixes?
