Hi.
Need some advice please.
My light system has failed on my 2017 c63 saloon. Have it a year.
(Intelligent light system inoperable)
Mercedes has diagnosed water in moduels and lights and rendered them useless.
They suggest new headlights and modules at 5500£.
So I'm not too chuffed.
My choices.
1. Pay 5.5k ...not likely.
2. Pay 2k for eBay ones new with modules. God only knows if they will work at all.
3. Put car on motorway as is and put me out of my misery.
4. Give headlights to a headlight shop for refurb who reckon can bring back to life. 250£ a side. Can't test on the bench.

Open to any other ideas
seriously peeved off.

The modules need coding or they don't turn on (this is because they need to know what headlights are there so they output the correct current for the LEDs, and the module is used on multiple headlights) - there is a barcode on the headlights that is scanned by diagnostic tool to configure the LED modules.
Have both lights failed ? Have all the functions on the light failed ? Did they fail at the same time (would be strange)
