Had the courage to wash, clean and wax car today in the freezing weather. Took most of the day started at about 11am and finished around 4pm with the usual lift to local shops for the family in between....just wish had a runabout for that.
Anyway used the Zymol autowash then the zymol Clean/Wax once car was dry. The Wax is less hard work than the turtle wax/other waxes and dries within minutes for you to shine with clean cloth.
It also says u should spray car with water after u have applied it and wiped off....didn't get time to do that.
The interior clean was hard. U wouldn't believe how fast sand/cream interior gets dirty. The carpet was impossible to clean with the Turtle wax upholstery cleaner...anyone know of something thats better. The dirt stains can still be seen.
However the leather cleaning was a doddle with the zymol cleaner(leather)...def recommend it....it lifts of dirt easily....I'm so glad i went for leather it saves u so much time....well worth the extra cost....and its not high maintenance like the BMW rep told me when i was thinking of the 5er.
