Interior motion sensor

A question - namely the alarm .

First off when i lock the car it beeps three times and the towaway light flashes all the time - unlocking it it beeps once , towaway light goes out and we are away .

Thing is this evening i was sat in the car cleaning the interior windows and i accidentally pressed the lock on the key and the doors locked and the towaway light flashed .

So far so good except i was in there a good 5 minutes and i would of expected the motion sensor to pick up im in there and set the alarm off - in fact ive never heard the alarm go off at all. does this mean anything , ive not touched the motion sensor switch ever .

I think there is a short period of time from setting the alarm, to it being fully alarmed. Time for 'magic trees' and the likes to cease moving. As you were obviously moving around the interior i think the alarm would not be fully armed.

You were correct , tried it just now , sat in the car , locked the car via the remote , nothing happened for 4 minutes then all hell broke loose
