Hey all
Thought I'd post some before and after pictures of the interior trim on my R231 SL63. One thing that I really didn't want was the silver trim set, much preferred the piano black, carbon or black ash. Typically when I found the ideal car, that was the one thing it didn't have! So as part of the deal the dealer arranged for the trim to be professionally painted in a satin black. I was a bit nervous about having it done, but figured whatever happens it'll look better than the silver. And if not, I could always look to get it wrapped or fork out for some carbon ones.
Anyway, it ended up turning out really well. VERY pleased with it. In my opinion modernises the interior. The finish is great, they've made a really good job of it. It's 2k paint so will be durable too. And had to add a little AMG badge on the centre flap, would've been rude not too!
