iphone holder

I'm looking for a way of holding an iphone4 vertically on the dashboard.

The phone is fitted in a hard case.

I have come across these, and wondered if anyone has tried either, and how sucessful it was at holding the phone in place.

These guys sell mounting flatforms specific to model of car. These are a perrmanant fix, unlike a vent mount. Once fitted you can then fix a universal mount to it via small nuts and bolts at the rear. This is what I have done on the SL as I wanted to keep my iphone 3GS in it's case and most mounts on the market are for the bare phone

Have you tried brodit passive mounts?

Just had a look at brodit mounts, but you cannot use a cover on the phone, with their mount.
