ipod connection

hello, i have just bought a c220 cdi. my first mb. in the glove box is a lead to connect a ipod this connects to the headphone socket, am i right in thinking this will not charge the ipod.so can i get a lead that i can connect into the bottom of ipod to charge as well as playing.

Hi there, my lead connects into the lightning connector on the iPhone and links into the Command system from here. However, it appears to do everything but charge my phone and doesn't appear to be possible.
