iPod interface for E280cdi

My new(ish) E280 cdi is being delivered on Friday,just been reading about an iPod interface which sits in the glovebox and connects into the standard radio/CD player.
Just wondering if anyone has one fitted and if so how does it perform?

It canßt be fitted to my 2005 280 CDI but good to know the new ones take it. Murky s are making very tempting noises about an exchange for the new model.
On the other hand we would have my wife s iPod which is full of girly music.

I've got the ipod interface in my C-Coupe, it works very well and seems to allow a lot more control of the Ipod than some aftermarket headunits with ipod interfaces - some discussion in this thread http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=32978
