iPod/iPhone Connectivity

As previously stated ive just bought a C200 Coupe and id like to fit iPod/iPhone adapters into the car.

I know the car has not had the steering wheel controls enabled.

So how would i go about doing this and is this a simple DIY job to fit.

Unless you have phone pre-wire, which it sounds like you dont as your phone buttons are not enabled, then the iphone phone cradle is useless to you. The ipod kit can still be fitted if your car is a facelifted W203. If you post the chassis number I can tell you and confirm the status of the phone pre-wire.

If it hasn't got the phone pre-wire can I get this done at mercedes or anywhere else?

Yes chassis number is the VIN.

Yes some Mercedes dealers can retrofit phone pre-wire as can some independents.

Thanks for your help. As explained in my Other thread/topic I haven't got the car as it's recently purchased and has something wrong with it. Once I get it back I'll post the VIN up and if you don't mind would you let me know about the pre wire. Thanks
