ipod to audio 20!!! sorry common ???

hi ive been reading through previous posts and see the same sort of questions asked but can't quite find the answer!!! i have an audio 20 system in my 03(53) w211 however i think this maybe older version from what ive read in previous posts!!!
Was just wondering how i can put my ipod through this whether i theres an auxillary or whether you can unplug 6 disc changer or any other simple methods.
I dont mind not being able to control it from stereo would be nice but really just want my ipod working!!!!!!

No aux input on your current unit. Options are to upgrade to the newer MY09> Audio 20 unit which you can have an aux input or if you wish a full ipod interface or media interface added.

cheers for reply, so for that sort of money then i could probably get a newer secondhand audio 20 for the money then i guess could i????
If i got a newer audio 20 then is there anything that needs to be done or can i just plug in and go????

Keep an eye on ebay they come up for sale on there and tend to go for £100 - £150.

Your current cd changer wont work with the new unit so can be removed and sold on.

You will also need one of the below wiring kits depending on if your car has phone pre-wire or not. I assumed you have audio 20 cd currently.

If you have Audio 20 cassette then you will need to remove the audio gateway in the boot and run a loom from the boot to behind the headunit using one of the kits below. Also if you have Harmon Kardon it will cost alot more as both HK amps need to be changed.

Ok cheers that's not too bad then! So is there a model number for this audio 20 or is it just the fact I'm looking for 2009 audio 20 unit??!! Ok yeah well there's a phone cradle in the centre armrest so i take it that means it's pre wired?? Does that mean I need the 1st wiring loom u first mentioned? So I guess then there's no need to eventualli look for an I phone cradle as it will be bluetooth able??? If that makes sense?? Cheers sorry for 101 questions!!!

If you have a cradle in the armrest you have phone pre-wire. The new audio 20 has full bluetooth built in so the phone pre-wire will be made redundant.

The new audio 20 comes in two models a single cd and one with built in 6 disc changer. When they come up for sale the sellers state in the title and description it is bluetooth enabled so you will know.

You wont have Harmon Kardon with Audio 20 cd, I was meant to put that bit with the audio 20 cassette, updated the previous post.

ok cheers so big difference other than colour is the fact that the cd slot is at top instead of bottom! So are the 6 disc changer at front ive got worth anything???
