OK so I have read loads of posts with regards to this topic but was wondering if there is anyone in the UK with real experience of this.
I have just bought a 2007 SLK with Command head unit and SAT NAV. It has a 6 CD changer in the glove box and I am wanting to attach an Ipod to it.
In an ideal world if I could do this and still get the steering wheel controls to work the Ipod thatw ould be great.
Has anyone acheived this? Has anyone fitted the itronics kit or Dennon kits that I have seen mentioned and which ones do people recommend?
Do these things need fitting professionaly or could a semi able DIY type person do it?
Any info would be appreciated
