IR Locking

My IR locking on my 98 "R" c180 has packed up. i locked it last night and it was ok but 2day it wont do ANYTHING AT ALL! the button inside will unlock but not lock the doors! HELP PLEASE

check the batteries

press and hold the button on the fob , if its working ok you will get two flashes a second apart , if its not ... its either the the plastic button or the batteries at fault..

the fob is ok (new batts fitted) it woz a sink failure! reset the sink and its ok now but had me going for a while

press lock on remote when pointed at passenger door, turn key drivers door both way.
press unlock on fob, turn key both ways again! BINGO!
