It's got to be Bosch every time.

Had mine replaced with OEM (under Service Plus). I was astounded in how much quieter the new wipers are!

i once bought the rubber insert from MB instead of the whole metal thing ... it drove me nuts for 2 hours and I still couldn't get the damn thing on. never again

I thought the whole thing was rubber?

Must admit I didn't pay too much attention but from when I clean them I seem to recall they are very floppy....(the wipers, wipers!!! )

My SL ones are all solid rubber, probably £200 each

Ian Walker sorted me out with a pair of new style single point wipers for my R170 SLK (thanks Ian) but I have to admit, I've not the faintest idea how to fit them. I managed to take one of the old wipers off but then I looked at the fitting of the new wiper and it doesn't match. maybe I'm doing something stupid...
