I've got a manual W202 94 with 119k. Recently been finding when I change gears the car is not as smooth as it used to be. Whereas gear changes used to be silky smooth, now when I drop the clutch it sometimes judders. Also when I pull off, ever so often it has juddered slightly, although it does this very rarely I have to say.
Someone said it is probably the clutch wearing thin and maybe slipping ?
If it is, is this costly to replace and get done ? I'm in Luton, Bedfordshire so if anyone of you who knows reliable guys that can do this sort of job at a reasonable cost let me know ! I don't mind somebody competent who knows how to work on the car, rather than any old private garage or stealerships !
