Is live traffic available??

Evening, I have a 2014 pre facelift CLS350 Shooting Brake. I've just updated the map on the sat nav, but struggling to find out where I can purchase a subscription for the Live Traffic. MB Connect Me app says my car isn't compatible.
So how do I purchase, or as it's 9 years old, is it now not possible, which is stupid really, as the car will keep going for years more....

Hi, you should enquire about it at your closest dealer.

Your W218 should be fitted with COMAND NTG4.5, which is compatible with live traffic data.

MB cars fitted with COMAND should have all been fitted with 3g data modem, which can receive the TomTom Live traffic data.

Cars fitted with Audio20 received the 3g data modem at a later date, but I am not sure when exactly.

That been said, a member on here posted that he was told by MB that the TomTom live traffic service is no longer available for his car, because it was 'too old'. So presumably MB stops providing this service after a number of years. You might want to call the helpline on 0800 1 777 7777 and ask them .
