Is my 2004 C220 CDi OBD ii compliant?

Hi,

I have a lovely 2004 C220 CDi and would like to know what type of fault code reader I can connect it to. Is the car OBD ii compliant? If so, where is the plug connector and how many pins does it have?
Can anyone recommend a fault code reader that is not more expensive than the car?

Pretty certain diesels are 04 onwards for general code readers to work, probably worth borrowing one to see if it works, maybe your local friendly garage.

Petrols are 2001 onwards ish.

Where in kent are you are you can always try mine.

Plus on wifes 2001 w203 in under the drivers dash just by where your right knee would be when driving.
