Is there a hard copy of the Command User Manual for the W205 ?

Can someone please advise ?

Is there a hard copy available of the Command User Manual for the W205 ? I can't remember if I got one when I purchased the car (as I can't find it in my document pack) or is it purely online ?

If your car is the pre-facelift model (2014-2018), then it will have either the Audio20 infotainment system with the optional Garmin Map Pilot navigation on SD-Card, of the higher-end COMAND NTG5*2 with the built-in navigation system on internal HDD. Google for the PDF according to the model you have.

I have the command system...I can get the online manual or PDF but I was looking for the official hard copy that fits in the wallet.

Only on eBay... or look for it on websites of official MB parts retailers in Germany, it is sometimes possible to order manuals from them.

Ebay was the first place that I looked but couldn't find anyone selling it.

I have just checked the folder that came with the car when I picked it up from new. There is no separate Comand booklet. Within the car booklet there are references to the Comand controls but detail is sparse, navigation gets one page. The hard drive in the car does have details about how to use Comand but it’s not all that user friendly and you have to be sat in the car with the system powered up to do your homework. It’s a shame that we cannot easily access this information in PDF format.

If someone here with COMAND NTG5*2 can share the MB part number from the back cover, then you should be able to order it from a dealer, or failing that, from German parts retailers online (I've done something similar in the past).

Other than that, I think your only option is to wait for one to surface on eBay.

Our 2019 S205 (with COMAND NTG 5.5) didn't come with any manuals or documentation at all. As mentioned there's some documentation built into the system, and other stuff online & via a smartphone app. I would much rather have hardcopy manuals that you can actually browse through, although I appreciate that the vast majority of owners would never give them a glance!
