Is this a performance package?

The LSD was part of the p30 pakage up until 2010 after that it was a stand alone option the stifer suspension was also scrapped after that date
Some seller's are mentioning the uprated bhp but they weren't so basically before 2010 pp cars consisted of LSD ,sports suspension, red calipers with 2 piece rotors standard 457bhp with alicantara wheel
Post 2010 ppp cars were uprated engine internals with 487bhp red calipers with 1 piece rotors which look like 2 NO sports suspension or LSD imo there's no point owning a w204 c63 WITHOUT THE LSD factory or quafe etc 🙂
I wouldn't say that price is high at all
Cheers. I felt the price is OK considering pp is rare. I know you can retro fit. Id like something sub 60k and has the factory options.

Apart from the Black Series they all have the same caliper, just different colours. All the discs are 360mm front and 330mm rear.

The discs on that car should look like this.

Facelift cars use ones like this, which arguably aren't as good. Same sort of weight but not floating.

Thanks Steve. It always baffled me about the discs on the car because I would be looking out for the colour just. With the floating disc it is quite easy to spot then.
Thanks
Barry

Are you sure that's correct? If so, the dealer doesn't know what he's selling; I suspect the slippy diff was not standard with Option P30, just as on the W212 with Option P30, and I'd have thought having one would add significantly to the value.
They know what they have for sale slim -

"AMG PERFORMANCE PACKAGE"

Diff was standard on PP cars.

Suspension was not scraped it became a option for the PPP cars

PP cars did not have red calipers.

Thanks for the help guys. I'll give the dealer a call today. They don't specialise in performance cars so I'd say this is where the lack of knowledge sits.

If I were getting another W204 C63 estate (I had one for 8 years til this year as a DD) I would get as late year as possible, with LSD (and slap a set of MPS4Ss on).

No need for anything else including PP. MB warranty and/or full MB service history would be nice in case of goodwill for engine niggles.

And I would really check that past owners cared for the cars. When they were rock bottom cheap, did they have the right oil, etc.

Steve’s would tempt me. These are exotic engined cars and need TLC.

I agree it's very important to get one that's been well maintained. I'm usually the same way with going up the years but the pre face-lift is taking my fancy. I may go for face-lift if I can't get the right one.
Yea Lsd is important. Most of my cars have had them and them and they just feel more stable under acceleration

These are genuine ppp discs to give you an idea

What year was the change from the M156 6.2L NA to the M157 5.5L Biturbo?

The C 63 never did switch to the 5.5 BT M157. Instead it went straight from the 6.2 NA M156 in the W/S204 to the 4.0 BT M177 in the W/S205.

Other models - including the E, S, and ML/GLE - had the M157 in between.

I agree about the tyres, that and the wrong brakes and an mot advisory about corroded brake lines has made me steer clear. I'm trying to source another.
