The car looks in good condition, has a designo interior, but he'd be lucky to get half that price.
typical case of someone spending ££££s on mods, then expecting them to add value upon sale.
The fun in modding is fitting them yourself, who would want a pre-modded car that screams 'thrashed'?
He should de-barry it and sell of the extras on eBay.

Question is though Karl, is it really a designo interior or is it simply a leather upgrade?

I don't know if it is a real designo interior or not, but I can tell you for sure that the owner has definitely bad taste.
How unfortunate that we don't have laws against that!

It's not Designo otherwise the seat backs would be in keeping with the colour, not the original black.

that is really ugly and with M plate he'd be lucky to get 2grand for it. i really dislike the red/black interior. hurts the eye! he'd be better off trying to sell the parts, might get a lot more.

And/or he is trying to recoup all the money he pumped into it for his 'mods' rather than parting it out. I'm sure those seats and door cards would sell, although it is red, I think it looks ok. He'd be better taking the plasticky bits off the bumpers and selling them and the car separately or getting a proper bodykit that looks better on the car rather than barry. Then again I suppose with a bodykit he'd be shelling out more before selling it on.

I have a 99 C200 no mods but in very good condition 65000 miles and cant get a starting bid on ebay for £1500.00
As you guys say mods are OK but they have to be tasteful and appeal to most people.
