Is this how fast a c36 really is?

As queried before, is the timing on a compressed/converted/uploaded video clip still accurate?

I doubt it, but we aren't counting tenths. Have to say I still disagree with the timing others have come up with, but if it is ~5 secs I agree I'd call that quick.

It is bloody fast... but i dont believe it until someone with a c36 tells me it is... its 100% definately not a c43, i've driven one and i remember the deep rumble it had. it might be downhill, thats a possibility, but dont think the vid was speeded up.

And as far as i know, despite the c43 being heavier, wasn't the c43 meant to be slightly faster? cuz it had a better bhp/tonne ratio?

I didn't mean intentionally, just that the time codes / frame rate / whatever might not be accurately preserved by the time it's been converted / compressed / uploaded / etc.

Youtube may reduce the frame rate, but won't alter the overall speed when the video is uploaded and converted to flv format, and I didn't alter it when I converted it from flv to mp4. So if the framerate of the flv is say 15fps, you could say the cropped version I converted is accurate to 0.067s.

It's defo a C36, prefacelift dials, and has that straight six grrrrrr. But it's probably modded as they aren't that fast...

Should one be interesting in acquiring a C36, what should one be looking out for during an inspection??

Same as any w202 ...

With the 36 though , evidence of maintenance , upkeep , and above all , signs of being ragged ....

They are certainly falling into the price bracket where the great unwashed can afford them now , but while they may be able to afford the purchase price , they baulk at the maintenance costs ...

There are usually ragged out C36's on Ebay to illustrate this point ...

I toyed with the idea of getting one recently ,i can come up with the money to buy it , but if anything goes wrong with it , i'd be screwed ...

You see that Youtube,is there a way to see a list of comments that have been posted in a videos comments section by a particular Youtube member,or for that matter comments that you may have posted yourself?

looks like a c36, as its an early speedo type, km/h makes it seem super fast, but it looks and sounds like a c36 to me!
