Prefer the original...

i too prefer the current one as it is simple and clean looking, though the bulging rear arch, if done well could really give this panther pouncing vibe to the car..

sexy none the less..

though that rear shot with the weird rear lights.. please God let this not be true !!

That car needs to be a coupe .

I don't really like any of the above renderings. IMO the current one looks perfect the way it is.

Th first one is CG (the panel lines are different to the 'real' cars. The two of the dark car are photograhs, the fourth (rear silver) is also CG and has the same panel lines and number plate as the first one. The last silver one is definitely a photograph

I agree... it always makes me smile when I see one on the roads, it's just such a beautiful car... and I saw a CLS63 in Leeds the other day too :)

MB have lost it in the styling department for this new generation of cars, the only decent looking one is the C class and even then they messed up the tail lights.

I could do a better job than their styling department! Let me at it!!!!

I like the possible new shape...looks quite aggressive

NOOOOO PLEASE NOOO :( :( :(.

Please keep the Mercedes Rear and not revert it ot he Honda-look-a-like E-class Rear :(

The CLS is one of the most attractive cars Mercedes have, i hope they dont ruin it!

I think I prefer the rear lights and rear bodywork on KK55 KZK rather than that on SCC 3966, even if the boot shut lines are not far enough away from the centre line of the car. Not too sure about all those exhausts and if they sit quite right though.

I think the front droops too much, I don't like the bulbous front wheel arches on the second and third pictures, & the head lights just remind me of a plastic surgeons wife for some reason. Looks like it's eyes have been stretched back too far and she not ready for public viewing just yet, although in the first picture this effect seems less pronounced and it seems to work much better.

Overall I have to say it is not as bad as it could have been though. Keep at it Mr Benz, you may just get it better than it is at present.

Regards to all, W.
