Not sure why so many are afraid of high mileage. This should be good for another 100k or so if looked after.
I used to run a 3.0 Vauxhall Carlton which I bought from the auctions with 80K on it. 5 years later I sold it with 416k on the clock. That was in 1999 and I saw the car again last year on the Leicester ring road. All I ever did was service it regularly. It never failed an MOT or required major mechanical attention.
But I suppose one does have to factor in what 'might' go wrong with it at such high mileages. I doubt a re-con engine is cheap
