Is this the new record mileage for a 55 engine???

Mercedes Audio 10 radio
Erm, it has comand, not audio 10. You'd think the seller would know that as it's a good selling point...

looks like he may of cut & pasted the info from some website somewhere....

I wonder what that would fetch with such high miles?
Would there be any gearbox, diff or head gasket issues with the mileage?

Any way, it does look in great nick, and it would be great to keep running it's high mileage lifestyle - just to see how far it could go

Been on autotrader for months at around 7 grand.

The listing says..

Good luck

like you might need it..

Not sure why so many are afraid of high mileage. This should be good for another 100k or so if looked after.

I used to run a 3.0 Vauxhall Carlton which I bought from the auctions with 80K on it. 5 years later I sold it with 416k on the clock. That was in 1999 and I saw the car again last year on the Leicester ring road. All I ever did was service it regularly. It never failed an MOT or required major mechanical attention.

But I suppose one does have to factor in what 'might' go wrong with it at such high mileages. I doubt a re-con engine is cheap :D

I wonder how many of those "370" horses it has left?

bidding ended at 4.9k, wonder if it makes it back onto Ebay after a `non paying bidder` / mate

record now stands at 190k unless anybody can beat it.....
