Visiting friends there this weekend and going to drive around the TT course which I rode around this year for the first time.

Unfortunately will be two way traffic over the mountain section.

Shame they don't have a Company Car Fortnight like they do for the bikes.

I will be over there for the senior TT next year. Cant wait!

I am having to stay for 4 days with a friend in their tapas bar for the duration which is a shame! ;)

48 minutes with fog on mountain - top speed 115 (legal? yes. safe? hope so). picture to follow

Friend of ours used to race own-built bikes at the TT back in the late 40s, as well as a sponsored Triumph. Hairy stuff since no proper tyres were available after the war, and brakes had to be used judiciously to ensure there was something left for the really tricky bits.
He was rather successful but gave it up when he got married; however he is still hill-climbing a heavily modified Triumph Stag...

When I last went to the Isle of Man, I asked a Policeman what the speed limit was?

He said "whatever you like mate, but 70 is fast enough normally" ;)
