Yesterday I opened a present from Mercedes-Benz, the Mercedesmagazine. Thank you Mercedes

On page 77 there is an advertisement, I quote;

It's official. 9 out of 10 customers would rather buy a used Mercedes-Benz with an Official Workshop service history.^

^ This is according to a survey carried out online December 2008 to January 2009; 97% of respondents (3,583 people) indicated that they would prefer to buy a vehicle which has been serviced at a Mercedes-Benz Official Workshop than at an independent garage. assuming the vehicles were identical in every other respect. (end):eek:

Well, I did, and look what happened too me!:wallbash:

Yesterday I Issued another Claim at the County Court for "loss of the benefit of a FMBSH" , £3,000 should cover it. I hope the Judge agrees with me.:D

I don't know you or your circumstances but you seem to want as many people as possible to know about it.

It seems to me that you are starting to enjoy your conflict with MB.

I wish you good luck in your crusade but hope that your next thread is one where you say that compromise has been reached and the matter is closed.

I had hoped that the drama I am having with Mercedes-Benz will be helpful to others in similar circumstances, such as damage to their car while in the "care" of MB.

The law is about precedent, so, if you are not given the T&C at the time of signing the contract, the T&C do not apply. The same can be said about signing the "contract" when you take you car to be repaired/serviced.

I do not think "enjoy" is quite the right word, perhaps, "stimulating" would be a better description.

I do hope a "compromise" is agreed, I shall just have to wait to see what MB's response is to the three Claim forms I submitted this week to the County Court.
