Itch for something discrete

I am reliably informed that if you have an itch you should scratch it.

Please let me know if you find a different cure:D
 
I've considered one of these for a while. Remove the W8 badges (I wouldn't bother personally, very few people know what a W8 is, let alone know one exists). They are over double the insurance on my C Class, and I probably wouldn't get one unless work gave me a fuel card!

Ultimate in Q Car looks and sound amazing! There's plenty of videos of them on youtube.

As for the car.....well it's worth a look if close to you.

Did this car ever come as an automatic??
 
I'm starting by tracking prices - this one is in it's last 9 hours and bidding has doubled the price since last night - it's still a lot of car for not much money.

I'm quite keen on an 8 cylinder petrol. But, I am failing to justify it to the women in my life (Actually, my 2 year old is ok with it) and my commute is too long for it to be a main car.

I like the W8. It looks discrete, maybe a little bland. I know it's not exciting, but it is different in a good way. And, it wont be any less thrilling than a diesel 1-series.

I've not bought myself a "me" car since I was in my mid-20's because I am working my butt off to clear the mortgage.

I think I'm just having a heart rule head moment and tomorrow normal service will resume.

Looks great to me.

But then again I'm on my third V8 Merc so I would say that....
 
....not sure what your budget is but early W211 E500's are getting very cheap these days....

...you get air suspension as standard.....

I found four for sale in A/T and E/B. Three auto. This one manual. I like autos on bigger cars, but the manual will perform better and be more reliable.

Which one's better? Only one way to find out.

Here's my problem. I think to myself "go spend a couple of thousand on a V8", so I see something, but then I see the same model a couple of years newer and only £4k, then I think, hmmm for that money, it puts me in the ball park for a different car, only £6k, and then I think if you're going to spend £6k on that, you might as well spend £8k on this.

Before I know it, i've convinced myself that what I really should have been looking at all along was a Ferrari Dino, a really good investment?

And, then reality bites. Too expensive, but if I'm not going to do it properly, then don't do it at all, right?

So. I do nothing. Or, maybe not this time.

Doesn't do anything for me I'm affraid.

Doest W8 mean wait in text speak? I would do just that, wait untill you find something else ;)
