C320 Avantgarde SE Estate
Hi all,

Although I registered a week or so ago I have finally today taken delivery of my first MB! Hope it meets your approval...the eagle eyed will spot a couple of non standard bits.

Its a 320 Avantgarde SE on an '02 and so far I love it!!

I will have many questions in the coming days/weeks (and no doubt a few to answer??) but for now I thought I would introduce myself properly to this fine forum.

Please excuse the pics but it had started going dark by the time I'd applied some of those fine Autoglym products!

Nice, why do you have AMG on the back?

Nice,

Looks Gassed up aswell cool.

Don't worry about the AMG badge quite a lot of people think its only for the genuine AMG made cars.

My theory is as yours has the AMG wheels / Exhaust thats good enough and anyway if you like it (and I do) then why not?

Looks very clean

What is the colour coded round disk thing behind the rear wheel?

Sweet.. I like the AMG badge.. I went to Brooklands Festival as some of my family like next to the Mclaren Mercedes factory.. They had AMG sessions.. that noise!! I'm AMG crazy.. haha..

What's that on the OSR bumper?

And those exhaust tips look aftermarket?

All guessed right, lpg it is. Unleaded for fun, lpg for the pocket!!

As for the AMG badge etc, I'm assured everything (bar the new lpg) is from the original order. There are apparently quite a few bits that are not normally on this model - think it may have been a demonstrator?? Don't know yet and get lots of opinions on here but apparently dealers were surprised on looking the car up as to what was on it. Not sure how to find out more though - anyone able to help...?

One nice looking car! Don't worry about the purists wanting the AMG badge only on AMG built cars...I have AKM on the back of mine (my initials) in official Mercedes badges of course, but's that's just my off beat sense of humour:)

Any ideas on codes 668 767 and 833?

The russsian site doesn't seem to know plus its not wholly accurate?
