This and that.
I have a couple of hundred albums on iTunes. On my PC, they are stored in \My Documents\My Music\iTunes\.... Each album is in a seperate folder within a folder for each artist.

In WMP, when I select the iTunes folder to add to the library, it scans through each subfolder, but it doesn't asdd them to the library..

Why?

TIA

PJ

But I haven't downloaded anything from iTunes website. I get it all from elsewhere, and all my music, whether in the iTunes folder or not (there's about ten albums that aren't) is MP3 or MP4 files.

It's still down to Itunes - I think it saves in *.m4* format rather than *.mp3 or other WMP compatible format. It will play MP3s and MP4s and other files though, just when you add them to your Itunes Library it all goes a bit wonky

Strangely Itunes music tracks play using the Music Player bundled with the Nokia PC Suite as I've just discovered

doesnt matter... it converts them so that no other application can use them... If the original files were MP3 on your computer then they should still be wherever Itunes found them.
