Sorry to hear that Joss Ackland has passed at the good age of 96.

When given a well written role that suited him he was a wonderfully engaging actor.

I used to watch him in a daytime drama called The Crez(z) when I bunked off school. He was a good actor, with a very distinctive voice. RIP
