Juddering E-320CDI

Well of course the juddering came back if you never replaced the radiator which costs about 400 Pounds:o

:) I wanted to identify the cause as being the faulty radiator problem. The advice from knowledgable experts on here is that there is no easy way to know if the torque converter or gear box itself is damaged. I am not wanting to replace radiator and then find the next part needs to be changed. And then the next... This is after all, an eleven year old car.

Having satisfied myself on the cause, I have decided to replace the car, rather than the radiator. My only hesitation is my loyalty to the brand and decision to buy a new E!

On the other hand, I tried an A6 and it's very nice but not a terribly comfortable ride (compare to my current E-class). Same for BMW 5 series where I also found the all round driver visibility to be poor. And has anyone tried seating three in the back of an A6! I am not much of a driver, so comfort is more important to me than sporty suspension - read uncomfortable - bucket seats and go faster stripes. You may guess I won't be getting an AMG model.
