Just bought these... want to know what you all thought

You can get them fitted, maybe only then will you find out if you need spacers at all or if you need them on the front, back or both. :)

Wow aparently (and i actually called brabus in germany to make sure!) a company called "RONAL" make brabus' alloys along with other german tuning companies' alloys! bit of trivia there lol.

I had a scare thinking they weren't real, just had to make sure.

Ronal made some of the original AMG alloys too, I might be wrong but I think they produced the 5 spoke Penta's.

In the same way BBS produce pretty much anything for a BMW, OZ produced a lot of Mercedes wheels.

Mmmm look good from here but , having just had a similar experience, would be concerned about rubbing the arches.......;)

well i had a look at the page with regards to the wheel fitaments on a W202, and its suggesting i got 225/40/r18 on the front (i might consider 35% profile on the front to avoid wheel arch rubbing completely, not sure yet) and it suggest 255/35/r18 on the back! it sounds a bit insane... but i dont know what point of reference to take :(

thats the correct setup for staggered wheels (mono2 AMG`s) if your offsets are the same it`ll be ok for yours too.

IIRC most brabus wheels use spacers so as to have a sort of universal fitment...
When you bought them did they ask you what car they were to go on?

I told them its a W202 C-class when they asked me, they said i might need to get 5mm spacers. But i was in a rush at the time so i couldn't sit and talk to him as to why. I have offset 35 on mine, i think the offset on the amg's is 37?

I believe that the maximum size of rims/tyres you fit may also depend on which W202 you have...

Last I checked, the Sport and Esprit were lower than the Classic/Avantgarde.

Additionally, if your suspensions are tired, you may have some issues.

I had 18" or 19" (can't remember) from an S-class fitted to a W202 Esprit... they did fit, but at full lock would rub (and I had to be VERY careful over speed-bumps)

Make sure you post some pics once you get them on!

Michele
