Just detailed the CLK

Those sills have had the bodywork sprayed & not the facelift plastic sill covers fitted.

Do you plan to fit them?

Looking good though :)

I was thinking the same thing. The sideskirts are about £100 each plus paint and about a further £20 in clips and clamps etc. Would finish the facelift of the lower parts of the car, lets not get into the wing repeaters and door mirrors etc ;)

If your going to do the sills, might be worth changing the bottom of the front bumper too.

That looks really good you can see a LOT of work went into that detail

One thing I notice is that your car has insulation on the bonnet

My w210 doesnt have this did you E55 ? I wonder why its on your CLK maybe as its a soft top ?

My car has under bonnet insuation. I would have thought yours should, you seem to have the holes for the fixing studs

I wonder if its missing ? If it does have it I cant imagine how quiet it would be as it seems silent now even from the outside

I stand corrected. Just checked through EPC and no under bonnet insulation listed for W210 230

So how much for the CLK advertised for sale?

Now that you've washed it..... when will you get out ther and polish it?  :)

Well done

Regards
John

Looks great Graeme. When is the Kent GTG then we can see how it looks up close.
