still learning this c230 kompressor 1997 w202 sport 178.000 miles very clean but tired looking to find out what other model merc has same engine as a transplant. car drives well but no ooomph and does not burn oil . low compression on all cylinders really want to keep this car alive been in family since new. remeber driveing it once at the right safe place at 140 mph

I would suggest to do some research before transplanting a good second hand engine may costas much as a rebuild and if you go with the rebuild option you should be sure of a bulletproof engine for years. Other option is see if you can transplant something more interesting like a C32 AMG engine that would be fun!

agree still trying to find out what other merc had the 2-4 kompressor and same auxillaries as 1997 w202
