Key Battery

Whist driving, message came up saying "change key battery". Got home, checked you tube for a video, Dead easy. Anyway, the battery CR2025 3Volt removed & checked voltage 2.98 volts. New battery voltage 3.24 works fine. So, it seems that they are pretty sensitive if nominal voltage is 3V & needs replacing at 2.98V

The lithium coin cells are all or nothing. They maintain a "new" voltage just over 3V for 80% of their life then die very quickly. Below 3V and it needs replacing.
