CLK200K
Hi all, just swapped down from S320 to a 2001 CLK200 Kompressor. Wasnt sure at first if this was the right move but living in Ireland and being away from home a lot the car Tax is a rip off.
Getting to like the CLK but have noticed that when I start it from cold it missing / jumpy. When it is warm there is no problem at all.
As it is still under warranty I have it booked in for the dealer to check it out but he has already told me that it is something that you will probably have to live this is normal with Kompressors.
Having dealt with dealers before i am worried that it will be handed back to me in the same condition.

Not knowing much about the Kompressor is there any tips for me as to if this is normal?

Thanks in advance folks.

my mums clk was lumpy at tickover when cold... CLK 1999 2000 or 1999?

god - going from an S to a clk - but you hate the 'thin and flimsy doors' in comparison..

The Kompressor isnt even running at idle speeds. So the problem is maybe in the bypass so that the air can get in at normal atmosphere pressure.

Maybe ask him to validate the bypass and chack if the air flap is actuating properly. Also ask him to check the pressure sensors.
