Lack of panel & switch lights - W124 E20

Switched the lights on tonight on our E320 - and none of the interior lights (panel, switches etc.) worked. Checked the Brookland manual and that says fuses 5 and 8 control the IP lights - however all the other gadgets controlled by these fuses are OK. Haven't physically checked them yet though - will do that in the light tomorrow morning.

Is there anywhere/anything else likely to have caused this?????

OK - this one's sorted!!

Unbeknownst to me the trip reset is also a dimmer switch - some suggested I give it a twiddle and - lo and behold - working lights again!!!

LOL !! i do this all the time when i try and reset the clock ......
