lack of power

Good Evening All
I recently switched on the low gear mode because of the icy road conditions(2001 ML 270 DIESEL)since I have switched it back it has lost its oomph.Took it to my local garage and had it put on the diag m/c
they said there were a lot of errors showing(all different) they cleared the errors,but still not got its oomph,they reckon it seems that the turbo is not working,possibly that part of the opening mechanism has stuck.
Has any body please got any advice of what may be the problem,it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried doing a search of this forum?(lots of info on this site,could be the mass air flow which is quite common on mercs,good luck)

Does it feel like it's revving higher than usual?

I had this before check all the the turbo hoses are on tight and that the actuator arm is opening and closing the waste gate !!

If the turbo had gone it would smoke from the exhaust
